Halftone - Halftone print

Halftone printing is a technique used to reproduce continuous-tone images, such as photographs, in newspapers, magazines, and other printed materials. In this process, the continuous-tone image is converted into a series of tiny dots of varying sizes. These dots, known as halftone dots, are arranged in a grid pattern, and the size of the dots corresponds to the darkness or lightness of the original image area they represent. When printed, the human eye perceives these dots as a range of tones, creating the illusion of a continuous image. The halftone technique allows for the representation of grayscale images using only one ink color and is essential for mass reproduction of images in print media.
